+ Canon 10D: Manual: ISO 100 70mm f/4.0 1/2 sec
+ Canon 580EX on light stand with umbrella set to 1/32 power 8 exposure at 10Hz

SML Zebra

I really liked the results of projecting 2D images onto a 3D form to articulate its contour, so I decided to draw some vertical lines in Illustrator and project onto my body and see what would happen:

+ Light source: Panasonic PT-AX100U projector hooked onto computer screen (pattern drawn using Adobe Illustrator)

Playing with more flash setup today at home. This time, I placed a flash head right behind my head to create a bit of backlight. The result is a lot more satisfying than the theory. It really does work!

+ Manfrotto 190XPROB
+ Canon TC-80N3 timer release control (so I can shoot myself)

Strobes
+ Canon ST-E2 Speed Light Transmitter / E-TTL / with ratio A:B set to 2:1
+ Group A: Canon 580EX with Gary Fong LightSphere from the right
+ Group B: Canon 430EX between me + the background to create the backlight effect

Playing with flash: single Canon 580EX on a light stand aiming from top left, creating the first self-portrait that I actually like. No doubt I would be playing with strobes more often now. This is fun!
